Rexea solandri
The back and head have blue tones with a dark stripe along the back. The skin is smooth and shimmers, with the body shading to iridescent dark silver and pale white on the belly. Their dorsal fin has a black blotch on the membrane between the first three spines. Gemfish have very sharp teeth which should be avoided when handling it, either dead or alive.
